在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Study your foundation year, then progress to the full degree.- Develop important business skills from the very first day.- Undertake applied projects and explore different ways of working.This foundation year has been designed to enhance your knowledge in advance of undergraduate study. You'll study a range of business-related topics, and apply your skills on rewarding projects and assignments. After completing your foundation, you'll have everything you need for full honours degree study, and progress directly onto the BA Marketing with Public Relations course.**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our BA (Hons) Marketing with Public Relations course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other Sheffield Business School foundation year students, then move on to the degree.You will learn in a supportive, challenging and exciting environment. You will be based in Sheffield Business School — a vibrant, dynamic setting with excellent facilities located in the heart of the city.You learn through- lectures and seminars- case studies- presentations- self-directed study- work placements- activities and eventsIn the foundation year, you'll study wider business topics, while specialising in your chosen subject area. You'll learn useful skills such as academic writing, work in diverse teams and learn to utilise a wide variety of data sources. In doing so, you'll fully prepare yourself for undergraduate study.**Applied learning****Degree preparation**After the foundation year, you will be ready to start the full degree. BA Marketing with Public Relations is an engaging, challenging course on which you'll cover everything from crisis management to creative skills, and prepare yourself to innovate and communicate in a range of exciting settings**Work placements**On the full course, you will have the opportunity to arrange a paid year-long work placement in between your second and third years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career. Other marketing graduates have gone on to work for McCann Erikson, Uber Agency, WDMP**Live projects**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years of the full degree. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.**Field trips**Marketing students are all eligible to join the Marketing Society, which organises field trips throughout the year. There are also PR field trips that have included visits to industry events run by professional associations, and a trip to Malaysia to learn about the country's PR industry run through Sheffield Hallam University's GoGlobal scheme.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
