At the same time, expand your Spanish language skills, becoming a multilingual professional with great employability potential. 18 months studying and working abroad help you develop the global skill set employers are looking for.**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our BA (Hons) Languages with International Business (Spanish) course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other Sheffield Business School foundation year students, then move on to the degree.This diverse course employs a variety of innovative learning and teaching methods within the vibrant, dynamic setting of Sheffield Business School, an internationally-recognised centre of teaching excellence attracting students and academics from all over the world.**You learn through**- lectures and seminars- lessons in your target languages- debates and problem-solving exercises- individual and group work and presentations- formal and informal language practice, including support from a Foreign Language Assistant- case studies- international work placement (additional costs apply)- a semester at a European university (additional costs apply)- guided readings and electronic resourcesIn the foundation year, you'll study wider business topics, while specialising in your chosen subject area. You'll learn useful skills such as academic writing, work in diverse teams and learn to utilise a wide variety of data sources. In doing so, you'll fully prepare yourself for undergraduate study.**Applied learningWork placements**As part of your course you spend six months of your third year at one of our partner universities and 12 months on placement in an organisation based in a Spanish-speaking country.Your work placement is a great opportunity to gain valuable international business experience. It helps you develop your skills and language ability and significantly enhances your employability. You can apply for placements with a range of international companies based in Spain, such as the Keysight Technologies, Oxford University Press Spain or the large Spanish hotel chains.**Live projects**Some modules allow you to participate in projects in collaboration with companies or experienced professionals from a variety of sectors.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
