在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Develop subject knowledge and understanding of the concepts, processes and content of the National Curriculum for Physical Education (PE) in primary, secondary and further education.- Put yourself in a strong position to apply for teacher training and postgraduate study.- Develop personal and interpersonal qualities that prepare you to be a skilful practitioner in educational and managerial settings.- Explore contemporary issues that influence the wider context of PE and school sport.- Have the opportunity to work abroad — with the possibility of Erasmus funding being available for European placements.PE teachers can transform young people's lives. On this course you prepare for this rewarding career by studying physical education and school sports, including practical activities, sport science, sociology and philosophy, research and developing professional practice.**How you learn**The physical education profession can involve physically strenuous, psychologically demanding and emotionally taxing work. The teaching is based on learning principles that involve you in scholarships that are collaborative and which prepare you for professional development.The course is structured around a combination of taught, directed and self-directed learning opportunities. You are expected to undertake multiple roles and staff will help you build your skills.**You learn through**- lectures- practical workshops- work placements- coursework- examinationsThere are opportunities to study abroad at one of our partner universities with the possibility of funding through the Erasmus programme (subject to the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme following the Brexit transition period).**Applied learningWork placements**A mandatory six-week (minimum) placement in an appropriate setting is a significant component of the course. This provides you with the opportunity to apply theory to real-world practice and further enhance your employability and professional skills. You also have the opportunity to undertake additional placements, internships and volunteer roles across a range of activities.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
