Computer scientists design and implement technology to create innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Governors State’s Master of Science in Computer Science equips students with skills needed for careers in software engineering in a wide range of business, industrial, and government settings. Students receive intensive theoretical training that encourages the flexibility needed in an ever-evolving industry. With courses in leading-edge fields such as virtual reality, data science, digital forensics, and security, the Computer Science program allows you to tailor your academic interests to your personal and professional goals.

The M.S. in Computer Science is designed for practicing professionals in the field. In this program, you will focus on the design and development of software, systems programming, applications programming, and the effective use of software resources—skills that you can use to advance your career or prepare you for doctoral studies.

TOEFL score 550 on paper based with 54 on reading, 58 on writing, 55 on Listening, 213 on computer based with 21 on reading, 24 on writing, 21 on Listening and IBT score of 80 with 20 on reading, 20 on writing, 20 on Listening and 20 on speaking; Pearson Test of English PTE Exam score 53: Listening - 53; Speaking - 53; Reading - 53; Writing - 53.
