专业概况

A GSU MPA is for the everyday heroes who serve communities in need. From first responders and village managers, to public works and social entrepreneurs, a GSU MPA provides public managers with skills in social justice, entrepreneurship, professional advocacy, and more.

The Master of Public Administration Program (MPA) prepares students to serve as public managers in nonprofit, local, county, state, and federal organizations. The MPA program provides a high-quality education to a diverse student body while engaging in scholarly activities and community service. We empower our students with an ethical perspective, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to effectively manage a public entity.

The primary emphasis of the Master of Public Administration degree is to imbue you with an understanding and respect for the formative, ethical, and political environment within which American public administration is conducted. You will learn to apply sound reasoning (critical thinking) to develop viable solutions to problems along with specific concepts, techniques and skills of management in the public sector.
