This degree is part of the Science Education Program housed in the Department of Learning, Teaching and Curriculum.

The MEd in science education helps transform you into a reflective and inquiring professional by:

enhancing your knowledge and skills regarding science teaching and learning inquiring into and improving the practice of science education building leadership skills in science education

This degree is only offered on campus and does not lead to certification.

To receive a MEd in science education, you must complete 32 hours of courses, including at least nine hours of science education courses, and at least nine hours of science content courses.

为来自中国的学生设计 Minimum Admission Requirements: Have earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Have earned a 3.0 or better GPA in the last 60 hours of baccalaureate coursework (for applicants with less than a master’s degree). Language Requirements: TOEFL Internet-based - 80 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 17 each), IELTS Academic - 6.5 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 6 each), PTE - 59, Cambridge C1 Advanced - 180.
