The online master’s degree in strategic communication from MU will help you learn to think critically and to develop strategies for communication problems. If you have three or more years of professional experience in a journalism or strategic communication-related field and want to employ evidence-based decision-making to create strategies and tactics that accomplish organizational or client goals, this may be the degree for you.

Program structure and topics

Delivery of this program is blended; one on-campus seminar held in the fall is required, but individuals may elect to attend up to three times.

Courses are semester-based. Students typically take one or two classes each semester and finish in two to three years.

为来自中国的学生设计 Minimum Admission Requirements: Have earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Have earned a 3.0 or better GPA in the last 60 hours of baccalaureate coursework (for applicants with less than a master’s degree). Language Requirements: TOEFL Internet-based - 80 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 17 each), IELTS Academic - 6.5 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 6 each), PTE - 59, Cambridge C1 Advanced - 180.
