This enables us to offer a course that blends real-world understanding and relevance with advanced subject knowledge and a truly international perspective.You learn through - lectures- seminars- workshops- problem-solving exercises- case studies- individual and group presentations- directed learning activities**Applied learning****Work placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement between your second and third years. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career. Due to our strong relationships with regional, national and international employers, we can help you to secure a great placement opportunity and support you while you are there, and salaries of up to £22,000 are possible. If you study abroad or do your work placement in another European country there may be funding available through the Erasmus programme (subject to the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme following the Brexit transition period).Previous students have gained work placements with organisations including • Carlsberg UK • Experian • GE Capital Solutions • IBM UK • Janssen Pharmaceuticals • Lloyds Banking Group • Metropolitan Police • Microsoft UK • Nestle UK • Nissan Motors • Unilever • Vauxhall Motors • Walt Disney Company.If you do not take a work placement, you can still gain valuable work experience through an international consultancy project during your final year.**Networking opportunities**You have an academic and professional adviser to support your progress and help you develop your academic skills. You can also join the student-led International Business and Economics Society to meet others and discuss and debate current events in the economy and business world. The society arranges social events and hosts guest lectures by academic experts and industry practitioners.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
