在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Gain a comprehensive understanding of biological principles of anatomy, physiology, cell biology, reproduction, genetics and biochemistry- Develop confidence and ability to engage with exciting current developments at the frontiers of human biology.- Carry out a research project on a topic area that interests you.- Choose to transfer onto the MSci qualification.- Have the opportunity to work abroad — with the possibility of Erasmus funding available for European placements.Human beings are complex and fascinating. If you're planning a career in research, you can transfer to the MSci qualification (depending on your results in years one and two of the BSc route).**How you learn**Attending and participating in the laboratory activities is central to your course, as it's where you develop not only practical skills, but also learn to keep effective records, analyse data, design and plan procedures as well as working both independently and with others.**You learn through**- core lectures- laboratory work- small group academic tutorialsThere are opportunities to study abroad at one of our partner universities with the possibility of funding through the Erasmus programme (subject to the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme following the Brexit transition period).**Applied learningWork placements**In year three, you have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in the real world with a work placement. This is an important chance to gain the experience and professional skills that can give you the all-important edge at the start of your career. Work experience of any sort helps to attract the attention of future employers.We offer you the opportunity to apply for placements in a wide range of institutions, including the NHS, schools and colleges, industry and medical research. If you are unable to commit to a year, it is also possible to work for a shorter amount of time on placement, such as during the summer. This shorter placement can also contribute to your degree. If you are doing your work placement in another European country there may be funding available through the Erasmus programme (subject to the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme following the Brexit transition period).**Live projects**Mini-projects are included in the first and second year where you develop experimental design and planning abilities as well as building confidence in practical skills. These lead to a more independent extended research project during the final BSc year, with further advanced projects being undertaken if you continue for an additional MSci year.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
