在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Prepare for the degree with an extra foundation year at the start.- Study food production and business, gain real-world experience and develop as an entrepreneur.- Explore the production methods behind various artisan and craft products.- Have the opportunity to launch your own food and drink business in the final year.On this course, you’ll explore the world of food and drink, focusing particularly on artisanal products. You’ll gain essential skills in business operations, marketing and finance needed to manage your own business, while sharpening your strategic and entrepreneurial thinking. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to launch a successful food and drink start-up.**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our BSc (Honours) Food and Drink Entrepreneurship course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other Sheffield Business School foundation year students, then move on to the degree.On the full degree, you are taught by lecturers with a rich industry background, who have held key management positions in catering companies or owned their own restaurant businesses. This provides you not only with sector expertise, but useful contacts too. Our experts infuse teaching with research, industry expertise and passion for artisan food and drink.You will be provided with a challenging and supportive learning environment where you will experience hands-on practical learning combined with a traditional classroom environment.You learn through- lectures- seminars- problem-solving exercises- presentations- practical sessions in our state-of-the-art professional kitchen and restaurant space- field trips- work with external organisationsIn the foundation year, you’ll study wider business topics, while specialising in your chosen subject area. You’ll learn useful skills such as academic writing, work in diverse teams and learn to utilise a wide variety of data sources. In doing so, you’ll fully prepare yourself for undergraduate study.**Applied learning****Degree preparation**After the foundation year, you will be ready to start the full degree. BSc Food and Drink Entrepreneurship is an engaging, challenging course. You’ll gain the skills in business operations, marketing and financial fluency you need to manage your own business venture, while sharpening your strategic and entrepreneurial thinking. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to launch a successful food and drink start-up.**Work placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years of the full degree. Through our relationships with local, national and international employers, we can help you secure a great placement year and support you while you’re there.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
