在这里学什么？ - Become a highly motivated and competent specialist with a substantial theoretical and practical skillset. - Gain the skills to design a computer network infrastructure, administer, manage and maintain computer network systems which meet the needs of organisations.- Have the opportunity to work abroad — with the possibility of Erasmus funding being available for European placements.Computer networks provide the supporting infrastructure for the global internet. National and international businesses as well as home users need computer networks to function securely, efficiently and cost effectively.You will learn the theory and technical skills to be able to graduate as a network engineering specialist, ready for a career as a developer, designer, manager or administrator of these highly complex networked systems.**How you learn**Case study and problem solving activities, often in groups, allow you to deepen your understanding through an active learning approach.Problem solving is a key component of many activities and you are encouraged to be a reflective learner in preparation for life long learning.You are closely supported and monitored by module leaders and the course team to ensure the required skills are developed. You learn through- lectures- tutorials- practical lab sessions There are opportunities to study abroad at one of our partner universities with the possibility of funding through the Erasmus programme (subject to the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme following the Brexit transition period).**Applied learning****Work placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.You are supported by placement tutors, and a faculty placement team through the process of successfully getting a placement and then while on placement.**Networking opportunities**Throughout the final year there are numerous opportunities for you to engage with career management, career fairs and workshops, employer presentations, visits, and professional advisors.Opportunities for further study and professional certifications like CCNA and/or CCNA security are available as well as opportunities to engage in research and funded projects after graduation.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
