在这里学什么？ **Course summary**• Gain a strong engineering background alongside building additional skills in leadership and management.• Undertake a development project where you apply research methods, originality and experience in dealing with new concepts and/or applications.• Learn to identify the limitations of current practice, and recognise the potential impact of new developments.Using modern lab equipment to practice fundamental chemical engineering principles, undertaking project work, real life research and chemical process plant design, you will graduate with the right skills and experience needed to succeed professionally in the engineering industry.There is an emphasis on practical work as part of this course. Sessions in laboratories will help you see and feel the principles taught in the classroom. You will work on group and individual projects to develop your skills in applying your knowledge to chemical engineering problems.**Support**We offer plenty of support outside the classroom by allocating you an academic tutor and through organising drop-in sessions where you can meet academics without appointment for a variety of support relating to your assignments, projects, exams, maths, English, statistics, computing and programming so no one is left behind.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
