在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Prepare for the degree with an extra foundation year at the start.- Learn the essential skills of business management and the role of IT.- Increase your employability through industrial placements.- Experience a strong sense of community and outreach through various student led social initiatives.You will develop a solid background in the commercial applications of technology and gain good general business skills, enabling you to pursue a broad choice of careers. You will be equipped with the knowledge to undertake professional accreditations such as PRINCE2 (Project Management) or ITIL (ServiceManagement).**How you learn**The course is suitable if you don’t meet the entry requirements for our BSc (Hons) Business and Digital Technology course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other computing foundation year students, then move on to the degree.You experience and engage in a variety of activities as you progress through the course. We have designed a balanced mix of these activities to help you with the knowledge, understanding and skills we have outlined above, as you develop as a business and ICT student and enhance your employability.You will learn through- lectures, tutorials and seminars- work-based learning projects, peer mentoring events and employability fairs- group and individual coursework involving written and verbal communication activities, problem-solving activities and information-gathering activities (including desk-based or field research)- continuous reflection on your personal and professional development- independent studyIn the foundation year, you’ll build on your existing knowledge and experience — developing useful academic, computing and IT skills in preparation for undergraduate study. You’ll benefit from innovative course content that allows you to access and use cutting-edge technology. Throughout, you’ll reflect on your progress, and build valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
