在这里学什么？ - Develop your skills as an actor and performer- Create digital materials to showcase your work- Research, plan and execute a wide range of performances at a professional level- Use performance to engage with communities and challenge real-world issues.You’ll be immersed in the creative process of making and presenting theatre and performance in a range of styles and across a range of platforms (such as stage, screen, audio and digital/new media). You will develop your acting skills and contribute to our own festival, The Change Makers Festival.**How you learn**On this practical course, you’ll take part in interactive lectures, seminars and workshops and have the opportunity to work with industry partners on live projects.At the end of your second year, you’ll travel abroad to see performances made and presented in a different context.**You learn through** - practical workshops- working in an ensemble- going to see performances- independent study- undertaking real-life projects for external clients- lectures and seminars**Applied learningWork placements**In your second year, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with external partners, undertake a work placement or develop your own enterprise idea. You’ll work both independently and in groups, bringing your ideas to life in response to real briefs.**Live projects** We work with a range of local organisations (theatres, film makers, theatre companies and arts organisations) on live briefs, with staff often producing work for local festivals. You’ll be invited to participate in these projects, giving you the chance to work alongside industry professionals. **Field trips** We are ideally located close to Sheffield Theatres and regularly see performances there. You’ll also travel to see work in other cities in the north and nationwide. In your second year you’ll be able to go abroad to experience –and sometimes participate in – an international theatre festival. For this trip, we pay for the flights, accommodation and event tickets and ask students to pay for their own food and drink.**Networking opportunities** We have excellent links to local actors, companies and venues, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet and talk to people from the industry.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
