在这里学什么？ **Course summary**- Learn the numerical, decision making and communication skills needed to succeed.- Improve employability through an optional one-year paid work placement.- Work on case studies and apply your learning to real-world situations.- Complete a final year consultancy project — finding practical solutions to real-world client issues.- Choose to study a language as part of your second year.On this course, you'll gain an understanding of accounting and finance within the business environment, and develop the skills you need for a dynamic career. The course is designed in consultation with the main professional accounting bodies, and successful completion will gain you exemption from a significant number of the ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW accounting examinations.**How you learn**Many of our teaching staff have worked in practice, industry, and commerce; in accounting, banking, stockbroking and general management. This gives them unique experience and insights they can feed into their teaching.Throughout the course you are provided with real-life context to the topics you cover and by requiring you to use skills such as independent research, teamwork and presentations. This is done through case studies, real-life examples and scenarios which engage you in the study and evaluation of industry sectors and develop key skills such as literacy, critical thinking, personal organisation, and time management.**Applied learning****Work placements**You will have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and final years. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career and enables you to build an eye catching CV. We have strong relationships with regional, national and international employers and a team of specialist staff to support and encourage you in the placement application process. We help you secure a great placement opportunity and support you while you are there.Previous students have benefitted hugely from placements with organisations such as Astra Zeneca, GE Capital, IBM, Jaguar Land Rover, Metropolitan Police, Morrisons, Nestle, Royal Mail and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.You could also go on a funded work placement abroad, and apply to study a non-credit-bearing language module through the University Language Scheme.**Networking opportunities**We are one of only a few universities to invest in Bloomberg Terminals housed in a dedicated Bloomberg Suite. The terminals deliver data, news and analytics to global financial professionals and you have the opportunity to gain practical experience of using this industry-standard technology.Plus you can access information from the Financial Times for free at FT.com to ensure you're up-to-date with the latest developments in finance, economics, politics, business and management. We also organise guest speakers from accountancy practices, recruitment firms and professional bodies such as ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW.

为来自中国的学生设计 The following qualifications from China will be considered for entry on to undergraduate programmes, with a minimum average of 60 per cent: Diploma from Specialised College (Zhongzhnan); Diploma from Vocational Secondary School (Zhixiao); Three year middle school diploma plus foundation degree; and A levels. Graduate Diploma from: Radio and TV Universities; Spare Time Universities; Training Colleges for Administrative cadres; Higher Education Self Study Examinations; Adult Education/Adult Education in Science and Technology subjects; Senior High School Diploma; Chinese University Entrance Examination (until 2003); College Graduation Diploma (Dazhuan awarded by university/college on completion of 2-3 years study). Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university may be considered for direct entry to Sheffield Hallam University undergraduate programmes. Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes. IELTS for UKVI 6.0; Listening: minimum level 5.5; Speaking: minimum level 5.5; Reading: minimum level 5.5; Writing: minimum level 5.5.
