Become Your School District’s Visionary Leader

School boards establish the qualifications for the superintendents in their districts. With your Superintendent Certification from University of Houston-Clear Lake’s College of Education, you’ll become well versed with topics relating to educational reform, policy and current trends. You’ll be the school district’s CEO—a highly organized leader, supervisor and manager who can make difficult decisions and meet every challenge on a daily basis.

Completing Your Plan

The Superintendent Certification plan requires the completion of 15 hours of specified coursework after finishing the Principal Certification plan. A passing score on the Superintendent state assessment is required prior to recommendation for this certificate.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for admission to University of Houston-Clear Lake, if they have earned bachelor's degrees or higher (as applicable) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and are eligible to return to the last institution attended. To satisfy by Test Results: Official Pearson Test of English (PTE) scores of 53 or higher, Official International English Language System (IELTS) scores of 6.0 or higher, Successful completion of ELS Level 112 - Intensive English Program, or iBT TOEFL Test of 79 or higher.
