Your Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Houston-Clear Lake will ensure you understand how to focus on how students learn, the best ways to teach, and how to evaluate the instructional process. In addition to mentoring teachers in instructional skills, you will learn to develop curriculum as well as coordinate its implementation, observe teacher instruction and analyze data to determine the curriculum’s effectiveness, and you’ll be reviewing and recommending textbooks.

This program will ensure that graduates are prepared to develop curricula reflecting student needs, conduct professional research, be knowledgeable and informed of current trends, and be aware of community and societal needs as well as demonstrate proficiency in the ability to instruct, design, and assess student learning. Additionally, graduates will have the ability to effectively collaborate, lead, and evaluate curriculum and instruction.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants will be considered for admission to University of Houston-Clear Lake, if they have earned bachelor's degrees or higher (as applicable) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and are eligible to return to the last institution attended. To satisfy by Test Results: Official Pearson Test of English (PTE) scores of 53 or higher, Official International English Language System (IELTS) scores of 6.0 or higher, Successful completion of ELS Level 112 - Intensive English Program, or iBT TOEFL Test of 79 or higher.
