Bring Your Love of Biology to Life

A Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from University of Houston-Clear Lake will give you a broad base of knowledge in the life sciences and prepare you for advanced study in the biomedical, biotechnical and environmental fields. You must choose one of the following specializations to focus your academic pursuits: Cell/Molecular/Biotechnology; Ecology/Microbiology/Aquatic/Marine; Physiology/PreHealth; Plant Biology; Forensic Biology.

From the Classroom to the Real World

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth for biological scientists is expected to climb about 21 percent through 2018, a much faster rate than the average for other occupations. UHCL’s College of Science and Engineering creates opportunities to put your knowledge to use in private industry and corporations, nonprofit organizations, and local, state and federal agencies. As a student, you can get involved by engaging in applied research in medicine, aerospace, biotechnology and chemistry.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants who have attended an institution located outside the United States must: Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma. Proof of English Language Proficiency: Your minimum scores must be: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; 79 on the TOEFL (iBT) exam; 6.0 on the IELTS exam, 53 on the PTE exam; or, you can successfully complete level 112 in the ELS Intensive English Language program.
