Learn How to Inspire in the Classroom

It’s time to make math come to life for students in intermediate and middle schools everywhere! With a Mathematical Sciences B.A. with a Mathematics 4-8 Certification from University of Houston-Clear Lake, you could become an inspirational teacher who can make a difference. Students in grades four through eight have special needs, so your training, expertise and love of math could help them develop a love for it, too, which could lead to their pursuit of a STEM career.

As a UHCL student, you’ll receive intensive training in foundational mathematical principles as well as the necessary pedagogical instruction that you can put to good use in the classroom. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants who have attended an institution located outside the United States must: Possess the equivalent of a U.S. high school/secondary diploma. Proof of English Language Proficiency: Your minimum scores must be: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam; 79 on the TOEFL (iBT) exam; 6.0 on the IELTS exam, 53 on the PTE exam; or, you can successfully complete level 112 in the ELS Intensive English Language program.
