专业概况

在这里学什么？ Our four-year degree programmes (including a foundation year) provide an alternative route to undergraduate study at university if you do not have the grades to access higher education in the traditional way.In the first year of the four-year degree, students will focus specifically on communication (oral and written), critical thinking, research, independent study, and digital and employability skills.Students will study three core modules and three science modulesOn successful completion of the foundation year, students will automatically progress on to the first year of their chosen undergraduate programme.The programme, based on a core of Sport Science topics, helps students to develop both knowledge and practical skills in applying science to sports coaching. There are three strands which run throughout the degree: 1) coaching process; 2) skill acquisition; 3) notational analysis. These strands are fundamental components of sports coaching and are unique to many other sports coaching degrees. Students will also study sport science modules of their choice. The programme does not favour specific sports and we encourage students to relate the degree content to their sports coaching domain. Through the programme you will develop skills relevant to other careers in sport related fields, as well as those valued by all graduate employers.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao ) with an average total score of 70%, will normally be accepted for undergraduate entry. All our undergraduate and foundation degree programmes require 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any section.
