专业概况

N.C. State is one of a select few universities across the United States to offer a Professional Golf Association (PGA) of America accredited degree program. All students interested in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) program must submit a golf handicap of twelve (12) or less verified by a United States Golf Association (USGA handicap) Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) golf professional, or high school golf coach or has successfully passed the Player Ability Test (PAT).

Students graduating from this discipline earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Golf Management and have the opportunity to earn a minor in Business Management. Partnerships with Lonnie Poole Golf Course, the Poole College of Management, Turfgrass Management, NC State Golf and local golf courses in the Raleigh Durham area allow the NC State PGM program to be one of the most well-rounded programs in the nation.

Golf Course Management (4 courses),Golf Course Turf Management, Sports Law, Instructor Development and Club Management, Leadership & Supervision in Recreation
