在这里学什么?The Public Policy Concentration is a single concentration that can be earned with a focus on either international or domestic policy. The u200bDomestic Public Policy concentration requires that students must obtain a minimum of 16 credits in core and related courses. Students must achieve a minimum grade point average of u200b2.33 in each graded course used to satisfy the requirements. Courses offered for a grade may not be taken pass/fail in satisfaction of the requirements. In unique circumstances or in the event that new, relevant courses are added to the curriculum or courses listed below are not offered during a student’s law school tenure, course substitution may be permitted following consultation with and approval from the faculty advisor for the concentration. Additional externship experiences beyond those listed below may be substituted for courses toward award of the concentration following consultation with and approval from the faculty advisor for the concentration.
The public policy concentration offered by Texas A&M can take a variety of forms including general public policy, general domestic public policy, general international public policy, or substantive area specializations.
As noted above, students interested in pursuing specialized public policy concentrations such as criminal justice, natural resources, or national security, for example, should meet with the domestic public policy advisor as well as the advisor in these specialized areas to craft a curriculum for that specialized concentration.
