The Department of Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education offers the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology. This major prepares students for graduate study in psychology and for careers in psychology-related fields. A graduate with a major in psychology should possess the following competencies:

1. understanding of basic psychological principles within the sub-disciplines of psychology,

2. knowledge of research design and statistics and their application in the study of human behavior and

3. promotion of the scientific method to solve problems and enhancement of critical thinking skills.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have completed a high school. Other English Language Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Required scores: 80 (Internet-based TOEFL), 550 (paper-based TOEFL) or 6.5 IELTS.
