专业概况

在这里学什么？ The M.A. in Psychology is not offered as a terminal degree. It is earned in the process of completing the Ph.D. degree in the Clinical psychology Specialization. The program is designed to provide a strong theoretical base that can be readily applied to various working environments and to prepare students for careers in business, industry and government. Our program is committed to preparing clinical psychologists who will work effectively as scientist-practitioners within the culturally diverse world. The clinical psychology program has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association’s Commission on Accreditation since 1975.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have successful completion of a baccalaureate degree or an equivalent degree from an institution with full regional accreditation for that degree. A minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.7 on conferred degree and/or graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, based on a 4.0 scale, on all graduate coursework. English Language Requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 79 on the Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT) or 550 on the Paper-Based TOEFL (PBT); International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) - a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, and Pearson Test of English (PTE) - a minimum PTE score of 53.
