专业概况
在这里学什么？In the spirit of the liberal arts, requirements for the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences promote greater breadth and depth in undergraduate study of the humanities, social sciences, the natural sciences, and mathematics. The BA is distinguished by its emphasis on foreign language, while the BS focuses on natural sciences and mathematics. Students majoring in Biology may choose to specialize in either Conservation and Biodiversity or Molecular Biology and Physiology. CONSERVATION and BIODIVERSITY (30 hours)
Two courses from Biodiversity Course Group (see note below) 6-8 crs Two courses from Conservation and Ecology Course Group 6 crs One course from Cell and Molecular or Physiology and Structure Course Groups 3-4 crs BIOL electives 5-8 crs Lab Courses: All students in the Conservation and Biodiversity Specialization must complete three upper-level Biology Lab courses in addition to BIOL 311L.
