Communication studies curriculum explores the role of communication in society and encourages the development of skills in speaking, listening, critical thinking, problem solving, research and technology-guided communication.

The B.A. in communication studies approaches the discipline from a humanistic perspective, whereas the B.S. encourages a social-scientific perspective towards research.
