在这里学什么？ Do you aspire to work with children and young people? Whether working in teaching, Special Educational Needs and Disability, social work, educational policy or welfare, it begins with a degree in Education Studies.A degree in Education Studies will set you up for a career to work with children in a range of settings. The programme will give you the skills and knowledge for a range of careers including, teaching, social work, education policy, welfare and working with children and families.Throughout the degree, you will be taught using real-world case studies that are relevant to education. You'll explore the value and purpose of education and address key issues such as social justice and educational/social disadvantage. The degree will equip you with a range of transferable skills that are highly valued by all employers.You will be able to choose modules that include work experience opportunities. These placements will allow you to gain practical insights and apply what you learn to a professional setting.You will be taught by research-active lecturers, who are excited to share their passion with you. Their wide-range of specialisms include Special Education Needs, educational policy and inequalities in education.You will also attend workshops with industry professionals who will discuss key developments in the profession.You'll attend field trips across the UK in the 'Critical Perspectives in Childhood and Youth' module. You can also attend an international field trip as part of the 'International Perspectives in Education' module. These trips will give real-life context to your studies, linking the theory you learn to the world of work.Our degree in Theology, Religion, and Ethics combines contemporary debates with ancient disciplines. Along with our experts, you will read seminal writers and thinkers of centuries-old traditions, pick up critical views of contemporary world issues, and examine the cultural appropriation of religious ideas and imagery.You may wish to study modules about science and religious ethics, politics and the Bible, or look closely at developments in theory and theological doctrine. This degree allows you explore some of the most recent and the most long-standing examples of the perennial human search for meaning, and apply them to the realities of contemporary society.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao ) with an average total score of 70%, will normally be accepted for undergraduate entry. All our undergraduate and foundation degree programmes require 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any section.
