Overview

This Masters course will allow you to study at the cutting-edge of heritage education, gaining valuable experience via a range of case or site-based studies. You will have the opportunity to take part in creative projects, focused case studies and applied research whilst considering heritage education and learning in its various forms and in a wide range of local, national and international contexts.

About The Course

This course will encourage you to work on various sites and alongside specialists, and will help you develop the knowledge, skills and networks that will assist you in your future career. It is designed for those already employed in the sector as well as those seeking to enter it.

Your studies will be supported by a dedicated team of specialist tutors, and a well-developed and well-resourced virtual learning environment. You may also benefit from other facilities and resources, such as the current involvement of the University in managing the Sandford Award for Heritage Education.

By the end of the course, you will be fully equipped to progress onto a variety of careers in the field of heritage education, or further study, with a repertoire of skills and knowledge supporting you.
